Part character study and part detective proced**al, The Gray Man wisely **oids graphic horror and sensationali** (Fish*#39;s m**ders, for instance, are never shown on camera), and while it is rather conventional, it is nevertheless quite chilling nonetheless and it shows a director with a very keen sense of story***ling.
